My name is Matt Tucker, and I am a full time middle school math teacher and part time fly fisherman. I also love to build things our of re-purposed materials, and this past year I began making fishing nets out of vintage tennis racquets.
After scouring thrift shops and EBay for wooden racquets, I remove the strings, shorten the handles, sand and polish the frame, and then hand sew modern rubber nets to the frame. The result is a unique yet functional fishing net that gives new life to these beautiful wooden racquets.
I am based in central Indiana.
